  4. Advisor/Advisee • Students assigned to teacher (10-14) • Meet 3 Wednesday’s per month (2nd Wed. is Club Day) • Topics – Transcripts, 5 Year Plans, PBS, General Counseling

  5. Freshman Academy • 1st Block on 4x4 Schedule (95 min. class) • 4 Blocks of Core Classes Entire Year (72 min. classes) • Freshmen Lunch ONLY • 4 Academy Classrooms Located Together

  6. Parental Involvement • Progress Report Night – 4 ½ weeks • Senior Project Board Presentation – 2nd week of school • Power Point Workshop • Orientation Night

  7. Community Involvement • Job Shadow – Seniors ONLY • Career Day • Senior Project Board Community Judges • Technology Workshop

  8. Happening at MHS • Enrichment – 1 hour class review for GEE and iLEAP • Reading Class • ACT Prep Class • LaTAP • LINCS • Model Schools Conference • Student Planner • Compressed Video Class – English IV/Sr. Project. • Boys Only Reading Grant
