Trig and The Real World. • Measuring Curves. • Construction • Buildings, bridges, ect. • Decorating Homes :) • MUSIC! <3 (computer, sound waves) • Digital imaging (CAT and MRI scanning) • Medicine, detecting tumors and laser treatments, advanced scaning procedures. • Triangulation: makes images detailed and accurate. • Mountain or land elevation measurements. (altitude, Geography, Mapping ect.) Surveying. • Astronomy.

Interesting…. • Trignometry is often refferd to as a science. • From India the sine function was introduced to the Arab world in the 8th century, where the term jya was transliterated into jiba or jyb. Early Latin translations of Arabic mathematical treatises mistook jiba for the Arabic word jaib, which can mean the opening of a woman's garment at the neck. Accordingly, jaib was translated into the Latin sinus, which can mean "fold" (in a garment), "bosom," "bay," or even "curve." Hence our word "sine."

  4. What I Learned About Trig O.o • I leaned that trig is used A LOT but we do not realize it,well at least I didn’t hehe, AND it is veryy usefull. • Although we don’t necessarily use an equation in everything involving trig like home décor, there is a essence of it . • It is suuuper OLD
