Enhancing Pre-Start Services at Emory University for New Hires

Emory University is focusing on improving the efficiency of its pre-start processes for new hires. Key issues include the integration of NETID creation with PeopleSoft job creation, which is essential for email and network access. Units such as the Parking Office and Emory Card are receiving inconsistent information about new hires. To address challenges, the Pre-Start process now includes essential activations and requests while streamlining communications between HR and hiring officials. These improvements aim to reduce productivity loss and enhance the onboarding experience for new employees.
