Visitor Tracking & Hosting Blogger • Built-in Google Analytics • Can also add third party tracker scripts • Hosted for you by Google • No built-in SEO • WordPress • Must set up Google Analytics with a widget • Admin dashboard only shows less detailed stats • Much better SEO • Self-hosted (need to buy own domain)

  8. Conclusion: Which Is Better? • Blogger is much more user friendly. Little or no technical knowledge is needed to modify or customize your blog and blog templates. • WordPress has more capabilities to in posting and layouts, but some features require payment. • WordPressblogs can be made more into websites, but knowledge of coding and HTML is often needed.
