  1. With the aim of improving the functionality of its fabrics, crevin has developed thecrevin efficiencybrand. The crevin efficiency concept defines a fabric with maximum performance without renouncing its high level of quality and design. ¡ Easy cleaning ! ¡ Durability ! ¡ Environment !

  2. ¡ Easy cleaning ! A crevin efficiency fabric permits us : • Easy stain-removal • Machine-washing with no shrinkage problems

  3. Laboratory stain-removal tests Crevin, together with Leitat (a laboratory of international renown), has created a method based on regulation FORD BN 112-08/05 for evaluating the ease with which a fabric can be cleaned with regard to stain-removal. The test evaluates on a scale of 1 to 5 the ease of removing grease, ketchup, orange juice, coffee, synthetic powder, felt-tip pen ink, ball-point pen ink, colouring crayon and plastidecor. The stains are rubbed with a damp cloth with water and neutral soap and the appearance is checked.

  4. ¡ Durability ! A fabric under the crevin efficiency concept has been developed with the most suitable materials and processes so that a piece of upholstery can be kept in top condition over time. There are three fundamental aspects : Materials Weaving Finishes

  5. Materials A crevin efficiency fabric is produced using top-quality materials, whose weaves meet our specifications with regard to resistence, elongation and solidity.

  6. Weaving Crevin efficiency fabrics are double-woven to obtain high resistance to wear and the seams.

  7. Finishes In our own finishes section, the feel, smoothness and body of the fabric are improved and defined. Crevin efficiency stands out for its excellence in the above mentioned concepts.

  8. Materials, Weaving & Finishes + Laboratory for validating results that meet the specifications of crevin : • Resistance to slippage of the seams (EN ISO 13936/2:2004 ) • Resistance to abrasion (EN ISO 12947) • Resistance to pilling (EN ISO 12945/2 2000) • Resistance to “Lightfastness”(EN ISO 105-B02) • Dimensional stability to household washing and drying % • Ease of stain-removal (FORD BN 112-08/05) = high efficiency level

  9. ¡ Environment ! A fabric under the crevin efficiency concept is a fabric which respects the environment. This is the reason why crevin works with ecological materials and processes. Materials Weaving Finishes

  10. Materials In the materials which form crevin efficiency fabrics, part of the material used is biodegradable and provides anti-bacterial, anti-static and anti-allergy propierties. Another part of the material is recyclable and this gives us the characteristics of high resistance and ease of maintenance.

  11. Weaving During the processes of weaving and inspecting crevin efficiency fabrics, the generation of waste-products is minimised as far as possible. The waste products produced in this process are recycled for later treatment.

  12. Finishes During the finishing and second inspection process of crevin efficiency fabrics, energy and water consumption are minimised as far as possible, and pollutant products are not used. Minimum generation of waste products is also created and these are treated in a purification plant at the end of each process.
