This project presents a proof-of-concept for a Multistate Trip Planner that connects rural and urban communities across the Northeast. Funded by the I-95 Corridor Coalition and developed using GTFS data from Bridgewater State University, the planner aims to address the absence of cross-agency trip planning tools initiated in 2010. Utilizing Dijkstra’s algorithm, Google Maps API, and other technologies, this innovative application seeks to improve transit accessibility and connectivity. Currently in development, we explore future directions for implementing this vital resource.
