  5. Hearing Assessment • At the first appointment we generally discuss any communication difficulties that you may have. After that we do a hearing assessment and plot the results on a graph which is called an "audiogram". • Most hearing losses can be helped with hearing aids and you can have a free trial of hearing aids for 30 days. We allow you to take the hearing aids home and try them out in all types of situations. • f you decide to have a free trial of hearing aids, we may need to take impressions of your ears depending on the type and style of aids chosen.   6. Free Introductory Appointment • Our company can provide a free "screening" hearing test for adults. • This quick hearing test will indicate whether you have a hearing loss or normal hearing. If a hearing loss is evident, a full assessment may be recommended. • This will determine if medical investigation is required, or if hearing aids will benefit. • Hearing tests are only provided to clients over the age of 26. Hearing Aid Check • If you have purchased hearing aids from another company and you would like them checked, serviced or repaired, please make an appointment to see our practitioner. • He can assess your hearing aids and check to see if they are working correctly. • Our company can do repairs to most brands of hearing aids. • We can also test your hearing and reprogram your hearing aids accordingly.
