  3. The History of Thomasville Thomasville was discovered in 2002, by Thomas Postma, off the coast of Ohio on an island in Lake Erie. Thomas was out sailing one day, when he bumped into this island. This island had a beach, trees and good soil. Lake Erie provided good fishing. The climate was warm in the summer, and cold in the winter. Thomas thought this would be a great place to live. When it was found in 2002, Thomas sailed back to Ohio. Then he brought back several friends to the new island to start a colony . In 2002 ,the colony was created and a small town named Thomas Town was settled . The colony was doing well, and only healthy people are allowed to live there.
