We need to insist on responsible innovations with blockchain and how the distributed ledger mechanisms may be utilized for the greater good instead of being usurped and harnassed by a very limited group for their private interest. 2. Blockchain is a social-technical system. Finding a social basis for technology is not just about factual knowledge but also about shared concerns concerning all stakeholders 3. Blockchains are gaining widespread adaption in the smart grid domain as a powerful tool for public commitments and accountable calculations.
