  2. I celebrate Vesck because it is Lord Buddha’s birthday.

  3. In the past my mom’s family ate kavum kokis. In the present we just eat milk rice.

  4. In the past my dad’s family went sightseeing to see the lanterns and pandols around the city. In the present my family goes to the temple to sing in praise of lord Buddha.

  5. In the past and present we both wear white and go to the temple.
