HIE-ISOLDE HEBT: characteristics Beamline diameter: 40 mm (REX: 100 mm) Beamline height: 1.75 m Beamline vacuum: low 1e-7- high 1e-8 mbar Connection of setups: Beamline ends with fast vacuum valve, DN40 On the setup’s side: permanent KF40 double cross with a Penning and Pirani connected to ISOLDE vacuum interlock Space for experiments – between cable trench and Jura wall Moving equipment: from new SAS, along the wall
