  4. Job Responsibilities • Cleaning and maintenanceis the biggest part of this job. Make sure that all the tools and utensils needed for a cooking task and specific meal are washed and ready to use. • They are in charge of storing and organizing thewalk-in freezer, refrigerator, and stock room. Make sure that all necessary equipment is properly stored and readily available for kitchen staff. • Additional tasks (in a small restaurant): bus tables, refill water glasses for patrons, or sweep the dining room floor.
