Welcome to Science (11/26) • Please come and see me if you would like to help pass back papers. • Have a seat. • Today’s Objective: Continue to make connections between the vortex model and rotating storms such as tornadoes and hurricanes start to take a look at the movement of air by thinking about “The Mystery of the Paragliders”. • Homework: • Modeling a Vortex Lab due Tues. Nov. 27th • Check Student Access and fix any problems. (Asterisks * are not problems, zeros are problems.)

Order of Activities: • Read the article entitled “What is a Vortex?” on pages 18 and 19 in your book. • Finish your Modeling a Vortex Lab. • Engage in educational activities that have to do with vortices, weather and storms until we start our tornado videos. I AM NOT COMFORTABLE WITH YOU WORKING ON MATH, READING OR DOING NOTHING AT ALL. SCIENCE STUFF ONLY PLEASE.
