  1. The Do’s & Don’ts of Home Decorating As exciting as it may sound, decorating to make a house into your home isn’t a straightforward task. Too much furniture & art could make it look crowded, but too little may make it look uninhabited. How does one deal with this quandary? We’ve put together a list of do’s & don’ts that will help you to stay away from any home decor faux pas and result in a beautifully decorated & cozy living space: 1. Always Add Color When it comes to home decor, more than often, people try to stay away from colors. We suggest the exact opposite. Always remember that there’s more than one, direct way to implement an idea. In this case, color can be added to one’s home in smaller portions. It could be something as basic as colorful pillows on the sofa, and if you’re looking for a bolder idea, we’d suggest covering any one wall in the house with some bright, colorful wallpaper. [Trust us when we say that it will get you the most compliments!] For some unique wallpaper designs, click here > http://www.casaamarosa.com/home/wallpaper.html 2. Rug Size Matters

  2. Rugs definitely enhance the look of any room they’re placed in, especially if you’ve got wooden flooring. They’re also a great way to create sections within that room. However, rug size is important. A rug that’s too small could look out of place. Always remember to have a rug that is spacious enough to fit all the furniture in that section. And make sure to select one that goes well with the rest of the items in the room. 3. Make Those Curtains Count

  3. If you’re under the impression that there’s only one standard way to hang curtains, think again. How you place & hang them could make a world of difference. But don’t worry, there’s only one thing that you need to remember when it comes to your drapes & curtains: The Higher, The Better. It’s the simplest way to make the room look taller. Additionally, make sure to hang them as wide & far as possible. Remember, it’s the drapes that add flair to the wall, not the windows. Take a look at Casa Amarosa’s collection of curtains right here > http://www.casaamarosa.com/home/curtains.html 4. Wall Decor Doesn’t Necessarily Equal To Paintings

  4. Don’t get us wrong. We love paintings just as much as the next person. But we just want you to know that you do indeed have other options. It’s no secret that the bigger the size of the painting, the bigger the hole it burns in your pockets. So why not opt for something a little different & a whole lot more cost efficient? For e.g. Woven Wall Decor is an up & coming trend that we believe is here to stay. It instantly brightens up any room it’s hung in & helps to add a lot of character to the space. 5. If you ask us, there’s nothing more welcoming than a couch full of cushions! They add a pop of color to whichever room they’re placed in, are easy to maintain & will quick become your favorite home accessory. Cushions in every color & style, available at Casa Amarosa > http://www.casaamarosa.com/home/cushions.html 6. Play Around With Textures Whilst picking fabrics, don’t be afraid to mix-and-match.
