  1. How To Choose Recessed Lights. Recessed lights are one of the best ways to add illumination to your home. But before you start installing your recessed lights, it is important that you plan out what exactly you want them to do. For example, if you are installing recessed lights in a wall that is already lit up, and you are not sure what would be better for the recessed lights, then you may want to try using lights that come with different shapes, and shades. Some of the lights can help you get the lighting exactly where you need it to be without taking up too much room in your home. For example, the recessed lights are great for a space between windows, or in between cabinets and dressers. You can also install these lights around the side of a garage so that you have access to natural light. The best part about recessed lights is that they can be installed with most standard home window treatments, including French doors and attic access. The size of the recessed light is important. You will need to measure your home in order to determine which size light you should choose. For example, if you are installing recessed lights in the wall of a cabinet, you should choose lights that are the same size as the cabinet itself. If you are installing recessed lights in the side of a garage, you will want lights that are not only proportionate to space but also not too large for space. Another thing to consider when choosing recessed lights is whether or not you want to use traditional lights that are hanging on chains, or if you would prefer to use more contemporary lights that have power sockets attached to them. Many people are also choosing the light fixtures that have an integrated fixture, such as a bulb that has a dimmer, so that it can be controlled from the wall switch or from your computer. If you are unsure about whether or not you want to use a powered fixture, you should first consider the style of recessed light that you are looking at. If you are looking at a warm, traditional style recessed light, you may not want to use one that has a lampshade, as you will be losing a lot of the warmth and beauty that come from traditional lighting. Another reason why you may want to look at recessed lights that don’t have light shades is that you may want to use more electrical outlets than you would like to. Some people may be too embarrassed to use too many outlets,
