PLAY AT LEAST ONE SPORT • THE AVERAGE GRADE POINT AVERAGE OF A LAKE PARK ATHLETE IS 4.25 ON A 5.0 SCALE • OVER 40% OF OUR VARSITY LETTER WINNERS ACHIEVE ACADEMIC ALL- CONFERENCE. • IN 2012-13 19 OF OUR VARSITY ATHLETIC TEAMS WERE RECOGNIZED BY THE ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (IHSA) AS ACADEMIC ALL-STATE TEAMS. • LAKE PARK HAS SOME OF THE FINEST • ATHLETIC FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS • AND HOST NUMEROUS IHSA STATE SERIES EVENTS. • LAKE PARK OFFERS 27 ATHLETIC PROGRAMS • WITH 91 DIFFERENT LEVELS FOR STUDENTS • TO PARTICIPATE.
