PROGRAM AND EVENTS • MahavirJanmaKalyanak March 28th 2009 • April 5th we wrote out first Kankotary • June 4th Ghee boli for the temple Pratishtha at Days Inn. • June 5thBhatambarPoojan • June 24thKumbhaSthapan • July 2nd to July 6thPratishthaMahostav - over 900 people attended on a single day and we served about 3000 people • July 6th - what a day it was! We made history and we opened the door to our temple.

Parna Sept. 12th

  6. Mahavir Janma Kalyanank • March 28th • Highland Heights Center • About 225 People attended • GBM and Temple update by Kushalbhai

  7. Our First Kankotari • April 5th 2010 • 65 to 70 people attended at Hampton Inn • We sent our kankotari to Lord Dharmanath, Mahavir Swami and Lord Adinath with our heart full of Kumkum.

Sangeet Sandya & Ghee boliBhaktambar Poojan • June 4th • Sangeet Sandya by Shri Narendra Nandu and his group • About 175 people attended at Quality Inn • Experience Narendra Nandu and Kayvan’s ability to raise funds gave us confidence that our dream was within our reach. • June 5th Bhatambar Pooja • Our 225 people attended at Mentor Civic center

  11. Kumbha Sthapan • Our journey to Pratishtha began with 150-175 attendees in our temple - June 24th • Saw energy and devotion of Sangh, that we’ll not forget • With Snatra Pooja every day till Pratishtha we could not wait for our big day

Pratishtha Mahostav • July 2nd to July 6th • Long awaited, with the hard work of many people our dream came true in the presence of scholars and dignitaries from different US cities and as far as from India • People from 30 different states attended our Mahostav and we should all be proud of ourselves the way we showcased our JSGC hospitality. • Many people to thank in the process • Shri Narandra Nandu and group was just amazing for us with all the vidhis and evening programs.

  13. Pratishtha Mahostav • July 6th - Dwar Opening • We had more that 200 people on weekdays • Everyone was amazed by the enthusiasm and excitement of our members. • Everyone’s heart was full of Joy and Happiness • It felt like everyone was trying to open the dwar to Moksa

Sangh Visit • Cleveland Sangh opened their hearts and welcomed visiting Sangh • August 15th Detroit Sangh visit • August 22nd Chicago Sangh visit • September 18th New Jersey Sangh Visit • October 2nd Columbus Sangh Visit • Oct 8th, 9th and 10th New York Sangh visit • Thanks to each and every one for their support during Sangh visit.

Paryusan Parva • Sept, 4th to Sept 11th • Satsang with Shri Rameshbhi and Nayanbhai • 40-80 People on given day • Bhakti in the evening was some thing we had not experienced in the past, it was awesome . • Mahavir Janam Vancachan and Swapna Darshan • Highest number of people participated on a single event • We experienced importance of having our own center

  22. Swadhyay (Jain Self-Study Group) • Meets monthly, usually on the 2nd Sunday but can vary • From 2 PM to 4 PM • Now will be held at our Center Contact people: Chandrakumar Jain, Hansaben Sutaria, and Naliniben Shah

  23. Mahila Mandal • Meets once or twice a month • Approximately 30 ladies in attendance • Learn Stavans , Pooja, and Vidhis • Participate in cultural programs during functions • Contact people: Pragna Shah
