  2. Viene incoronato dal Papa imperatore del S.R.I. (800): romani-germani-slavi uniti nella Chiesa Divide l’impero tra conti e marchesi (anche Vescovi). I missi dominicili controllavano e comunicavano le leggi del sovrano (capitolari).

  3. Sviluppa (rinascita carolingia)+ la vita economica e sociale: agricoltura e commerci (moneta: lira)+ la cultura con le scuole: - scuola palatina per i funzionari- scuole presso i monasteri e i vescovadi: monaci maestri e copisti= si diffonde l’istruzione tra la gente.
