  2. Belief about God Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all monotheistic, that is they all believe in 1 God. Each religion has a different name for God: YHWH, Lord, and Allah.

  3. Origin All three religions originated on the continent of Asia, in the Middle East. Judaism and Christianity began in present-day Israel and Islam in Saudi Arabia.

Unique Beliefs and Guidelines Islam • Muhammad is the last and greatest prophet of Islam • The guidelines Muslims follow are known as the Five Pillars (fasting during Ramadan, pilgrimage to Mecca- the Hajj, pray 5 times a day, declaration of prayer, and giving of charity). • The 2 holiest cities are Mecca and Medina.
