Screen Clippings Why? • You can insert a screen capture from any source (Applies to all Office programs) • Note: Windows 7 also includes “Snipping Tool” for screen clippings in case Office is not available. Steps: 1. Choose the Insert tab 2. Choose the available window or “Screen clippings”
Inserting Objects Why? Steps: • Insert tab • Choose object • Choose type of object • Choose display as icon or leave unchecked
Organizational Charts Why? Steps: 1. Insert tab 2. Choose object 3. Choose organization chart add-in for Microsoft Office programs 4. Build your chart using the tools and menu and the top of the screen
Adding Sections • Why? Steps: • Right click in the left hand slide menu • Choose add section • Name your section
Linking Notes to your Presentation from OneNote Why? Steps: • Choose the Review tab • Choose Linked notes
Using SmartArt Why? Steps: • Choose the Insert tab • Choose SmartArt
Keep Slide Formatting • Used when you copy from one PowerPoint slide deck to another
Selection and Visibility Steps: • Choose the Home tab • Choose Select-Selection Pane
