Keeping your cool….refrigeration • Refrigerator, icebox or cooler • The more space taken up, the colder it will stay • Limit opening • Freeze meat/casseroles ahead • Space blanket or insulated pad over top of food • Block ice preferred over cubes • Frozen cold packs – frozen water jugs (gallon) • Food garbage can take up space

Pantry power • Spices – salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, curry, oregano, dill, cilantro, basil • Rice, Pasta, Spuds, Risotto, Oatmeal • Crackers, Cookies • Soups, Cup of Noodles/Instant soups • Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper • Canned Tuna, Dinty Moore Stew/Chili • Peanut Butter, Jelly • Muffin mix (oven) • Paper goods (towels, napkins, plates, cups)
