  9. AP AGRISNET • An icon driven GUI Interface even for illiterate farmers • Text is read out for benefit of farmers who are not fully literate or have an impaired hearing. Audio response is generated when a cursor is placed on the text. • Completely in vernacular except for last level links in English • Rich audio, video and animation content • Excellent response at the Call Centre with Google like search interface for the Agent

  17. NORMS FOR PROVIDING COMPUTER HARDWARE AT STATE LEVEL For data connectivity a sum of Rs 11000/- is earmarked for each State HQ, SAU, District and Block.

  18. NORMS FOR MANPOWER DEPLOYMENT 1. Data Entry Operators have been provisioned for a period of 3 years 2. The remuneration for the operators at all levels (state department, state HQ, district and block) has been estimated with an average of Rs. 90,000 per annum 3. State will need to share the cost for data Entry operators (0%, 30% & 50% State share during first 3 years)

  19. Norms for Infrastructure Set-up • The State is to contribute 45 % of the funds required for Site preparation except sites for the Training Centres which will be funded fully by the GoI
