Achievements 7-11 April 2008 TBG3 Transport • Press release for the 20th anniversary of the Transport group (launch April 1988 in Washington) • BRS IFTM for International Forwarding & Transport endorsed and released by TBG 3 for review through the UN/CEFACT procedure • Core Components Transport joint submission TBG2/3 harmonized by TBG17 ready for publishing in CCL O8.A • Define approach to develop transport subsets from SHIP BIM (UNeDocs) and joint work with TBG2 to define BIM methodology • Established next BRS development priority: Transport Instructions, Status Reporting • Prepare the next release V3 of the ITIGG worldwide implementation guidelines for EDIFACT and XML (General recommendations, Principles and Rules, business processes and message sets) 12th UN/CEFACT FORUM - Mexico

Achievements 7-11 April 2008 TBG3 Transport • Endorsed detailed TBG3 Work Plan for the year 2008 • Planned 2 additional TBG3/ITIGG Interim meetings: 7- 11 July in Brussels and 6-10 October in Paris (total 4 full week meetings in 2008) and conference calls • Joint meetings with other groups: TBG1 (joint project “Logistics Services”), TBG2 ( UneDocs and BIMs), TBG6 (Security project),TBG14 (UMM Supply Chain Model harmonisation), TBG18 (Fish tracking/tracing) • GS1: initiated joint work to harmonize their BRAD Business model with the TBG3 BRS Forwarding/Transport within the LIM initiative (Logistics Interoperability Model - eCOM Standards Working Group) • Information on the latest ISO standards developments (TC104, TC204 and TC8) • Presentation of current implementations and projects: GS1, Australia BAHS, France GESFIM, ShortseaXML, TOPAS…. 12th UN/CEFACT FORUM - Mexico
