  1. The Elmo Document Camera Install/Use Instructions Ted Trueblood Tri-C

  2. Cords from Document Camera • Make sure power cable is plugged into “DC” outlet in back as shown. • Make sure yellow video cable is plugged into the video outlet.

  3. The Next Step… • Plug power cord into nearest available outlet. • Underneath your desk, plug yellow video cable into A/V outlet as shown. Only the top is for the camera—the other two are for sound.

  4. Output Switch • On the back, flip the left output switch to “video.” • It may be necessary to use a pen or a small flat screwdriver.

  5. Setup • Place the camera on a convenient location on your desk, and place white document tray underneath as shown.

  6. Power On • Turn the camera on by pressing “power”(photo on left). • Turn the camera to the “camera” setting (photo on right).

  7. Put your Image on the Screen • With your projector turned on, select the “video” function. Whatever is on the white tray should show up on the screen. • The zoom in/out and the light functions are labeled on the right. Zoom Light

  8. Saving Your Work (Optional) • Insert an SD media card into the slot shown, and push the camera icon on the document camera. • If you want to save from the camera to your computer, connect the USB cable from the port as shown to your computer. • On the menu settings for the document camera, select “usb mode,” then “mass storage.”
