This course focuses on Linux system management and virtualization techniques. Students will engage in hands-on learning through LabSim as the textbook, and complete in-class quizzes (320 points) and practice exams (200 points). The curriculum includes nine assignments (270 points) covering essential topics such as installation, user/group management, permissions, backups, print servers, databases, email servers, automation, scripting, and security. Attendance is mandatory, with no make-up assessments. Prepare to become adept in both Linux environments and virtualization technologies.
