Intense Focus • Service Provider to Education • Service to the NCREN community is our focus • Broadest definition Service Provider • Broadest definition of education • Blessed with an endowment, cannot treat it like a university • Network is an asset but must be refreshed constantly, recapitalized regularly • Innovation still a priority – but very targeted- Virtual Computing; Collaborative tools-applicability to education
