  1. Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua Il tempio delle tigri Nel 1999, gli abitanti di un piccolo villaggio della provincia di Kanchanaburi in Thailandia hanno trovato nella foresta due cuccioli di tigre feriti, i loro genitori erano stati uccisi dai bracconieri. "DANZA DELLE ORE" BEETHOVEN

  2. Non sapendo cosa fare, li hanno portati al tempio buddista Wat Pha Luang dove sono stati accolti e curati dai monaci. Nasceva così il "Tempio delle tigri".

  3. Da quel momento in poi, molti cuccioli di tigre orfani furono portati al tempio e allevati dai monaci

  4. Le tigri vengono addomesticate e sono abituate a mangiare carne cotta, in modo da non sviluppare il gusto per il sangue.   Esse vengono trattate come membri della famiglia del tempio.

  6. Questo luogo è considerato un santuario per gli animali e un centro per preservarne l’estinzione

  7. Il tempio è aperto ai turisti

  8.  Gli addetti tengono le tigri sotto controllo e sono pronti ad intervenire se le tigri diventano troppo nervose . 

  9.  I visitatori in cambio di qualche foto lasciano dei doni ai monaci

  10. E’ l’unico luogo al mondo dove è possibile accarezzare delle tigri in libertà margie
