  2. How do you become a teacher in the USA? Generally, to Become A Teacher in all the States of US you need to : 1. Earn a Bachelor's Degree. All states require K-12 public school teachers to have at least a bachelor's degree. 2. Engage in Student Teaching. Gaining classroom experience is a must for teachers. 3. Get Certified or Licensed from the traditional teaching course or alternate routes of Online Teacher Certification. Those who intend to teach in public schools must be licensed or certified.
