  1. Updating the SoftwareStep 1Eclipse AVN726E / AVN76D To Begin, visit www.eclipse-web.com

  2. Select Support > Map Updates

  3. Select AVN726E / AVN76D Detail

  4. Prepare a Blank CD-R • Scroll Down to Software Update Download

  5. Step I – Software Update • Download the latest firmware software (MN01xxxx.vbk) • Burn this file to a blank CD

  6. Save the file to your desktop • Do not change the file name or extension

  7. Once complete select Close

  8. Load a blank CD and Copy the file from the PC Desktop to the CD-R Drive • If you Receive a Confirm Stream Loss message – Click Yes

  9. Write the Files to a blank CD-R • Eject CD-R from PC for use with the AVN and begin software update

  10. Software Update 1) Press the Open / Eject Button 2) Press the on-screen Eject 3) Insert the Update Disc into the AVN 4) Press Close 4 2 1

  11. Software Update • Press the “MENU” or “AV” button for the Main Menu Screen

  12. Software Update • Press “Audio Off”

  13. Software Update 2 4 • In sequence, press and release the four corners of the screen as indicated 5 6 1 3

  14. Software Update • Press “Yes” to begin update or repeat sequence until you see Start Update.

  15. Software Update • Wait for Screen to show “ECU Selection” (The disc should have already been inserted)

  16. Software Update • Press Select

  17. Software Update • Press “OK”to begin Updating Process IMPORTANT ! Do Not Turn Off the Vehicle This process takes approximately 2 minutes

  18. Software Update • Screen will show “Program Loading” and show the blue progress bar

  19. Software Update • Wait for the “Updating Complete” • Press “OK”

  20. Software Update • The screen will verify that the New Version of software has properly loaded • Press “End”

  21. Software Update Process Completed • Turn off the vehicle and wait approximately 10 seconds • Turn on the vehicle • Push “Eject” and remove the update disc • The Firmware Update Process is now complete
