Story • *A Little Princess*
CHAPTER 1 -Main points • Sara Crewe is a very rich little girl .Her father takes her to Miss Minchin’s school in London. Then he goes back to his work in India. [ their home land]. - On her way to London, Sara was thinking about their house in India and the hot sun and the blue sky.
- Miss Minchin liked girls with rich fathers, because it was good for the school & for Miss Minchin ,too. • - Mr. Crewe bought many beautiful, expensive dresses for his daughter, some books& flowers for her room& a big doll with beautiful dresses, too.
– When Mr. Crewe left London, Sara was very sad. She sat in her room and thought about her father on the ship back to India– Sara was interested in people & books& telling stories. • – Ermengarde was Sara’s best friend. Sara often helped her with her lessons.
