  4. You know, what you want, of cource. • Make a wish and go to gates of church. Look at people, coming to gates. • If from 13 persons there are a lot of women – the wish will not be executed, if there are a lot of men – it will be executed. • (If the man guesses – the answer is opposite.)

What do you see? • Cross – death, • church – need, sufferings, • flowers – the new gentleman, • animal – the enemy, • stripes – roads, moving, • stars – good luck in work or study, • silhouette of the person – the friend. If you have seen something bad for yourselves, dig wax and milk, good – water flowers by milk and use wax for the following guessing.

  6. You can know about the future life, listening conversation in the another's house. Unessentially there should speak about you. But if in the house anybody shouted – you will have troubles, quarrels. Cheerful conversation foretells good life.

  7. The most courageous and brave girls went to midnight in church in hope to hear there singing and on it to define the destiny. At night in church there was not service, but due to imagination girls sometimes heard wedding singing which foretold a fast marriage, or dirge which meant death of the close person.

  8. This guessing is distributed in many countries. Late at night leave on street and ask the first passer-by, what’s his name. The same name will have your future husband.

  9. Before going to bed at night before Christmas it is necessary to say: « My God the Christ, 3 prelates in my house: the first sees, the second will tell, the third will show destiny». • The seen dream will predict destiny. The original Russian phrase: «Господи Христе, три святителя в избе: один видит, другой скажет, третий судьбу покажет»

  10. Leave to gates of home and listen – where the dog barks, therefrom there will be a husband. • If the bark rough – he will be malicious, • if the bark cheerful, sonorous – the husband will be kind.

  11. If you have cat, you can use it for a guessing. • Ask a question, on which it is possible to give the answer "yes" or "no". Throw out your cat and look, what paw it will cross through a threshold, entering back. • If it crosses a threshold the right paw – the answer is "yes“, the left – "no".
