2. Hoover Cardinals are the CIF Division II Champions and #3 seed in So Cal! State Playoff Game vs Tesoro High @ Hoover Wednesday, March 6th 7:00 p.m. Wear RED and come cheer our team! HOO – RYDE!!

3. The Hoover boys' basketball team captured their 4th CIF Championship in the last 8 years with a 58-50 victory over top seeded La Costa Canyon. Hoover's 29 wins (29-5) on the year also establish a new school record!  Junior Tyrone Johnson led the Cardinals with 16 points while junior Miles Nolen-Webb added 14 points.  Sophomore Jordan Alexander posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, while junior Damonte Holiday chipped in 13 points.  Holiday also was selected as the Sportsmanship Award winner.

4. Clean Campus Classroom Program • After taking 5th period attendance, scheduled classes are escorted to the Back Quad by their teacher.
