  2. www.vuts.cz VÚTS, a.s. - „CRSV Project“ A newspublished in the MŠMT web A new regional science research centre will be established under the European Union contribution. The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports supported the establishment of another regional science research centre form the Operational Programme Research and development for innovations, this time in Liberec. Prague, 19th October 2010 Minister of Education, Youth a Sports Josef Dobeš signed another Decision on granting subsidy within the Operational Programme Research and development for innovations, this time it concerns the project Mechanical Engineering Research Development Centre. The grant beneficiary is VÚTS, a.s., (plc). A subvention in an amount of CZK 745 million will contribute to establishing an excellently equipped centre which will be able to produce theoretical and practical outputs and to respond flexibly to the needs and requirements of the subjects from the application sphere. The main aim of the project is the development of knowledge and procedures applicable when designing machinery for the processing industry, namely machine tools, glass, jewelry, printing, assembly, textile and single-purpose machines e.g. for the automotive industry. Within the implementation of the project, it is assumed that a number of unique instruments and devices, e.g. laboratories for analyzing noise, vibrations, and many others, will be purchased and putting into operation. The new centre also deals with the education of promising young researchers and scientists who will be able to find their place just in the newly building centre. The project Mechanical Engineering Research Development Centre is already the 21st supported project from the Operational Programme Funds – Research and development for innovations.
