  13. People:strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

  14. Minister:Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples,

  16. Minister:Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name;

  17. People:bring an offering, and come into His courts!

  18. Minister:Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;

  19. People:tremble before Him, all the earth!

  20. Profession of Faith(from the Heidelberg Catechism, Questions No. 88-90)

  21. Minister:What is involved in genuine repentance or conversion?

  22. People:Two things:The dying-away of the old self—to be genuinely sorry for sinand more and more to hate and run away from it.

  23. And the rising-to-life of the new—Wholehearted joy in God through Christ

  24. and a love and delight to live according to the will of God by doing every kind of good work.

  26. ALL:Eternal Father, You are good beyond all thought, I turn my eyes to You.

  27. Unmask to me sin’s deformity,that I may hate it, abhor it, flee from it.

  28. Grant me to know that the way of transgressors is hard, that evil paths are wretched paths,that to depart from You is to lose all good.

  29. All these sins I mourn, lament, and for them cry pardon. Work in me more profound and abiding repentance;

  30. give me the fullness of Godly grief that trembles in fear, yet ever trusts and loves,which is ever powerful and ever confident.

  31. Grant that through the tears of repentanceI may see more clearly the brightness and glories of the saving cross.
