Training package goals • The aim is to provide those involved in developing a national instrument on internal displacement with the technical skills to do so in terms of process and content. • Such instruments aim to contribute to the prevention of displacement, the protection of IDPs and other people affected by displacement and the pursuit of durable solutions.

Workshop objectives • To define the rationale for the development of a national instrument on internal displacement and its relevance to Country X • To identify the best type of instrument and content for Country X • To plan for, organiseand steer a national consultative process on the development of an instrument
