CVSD School Counseling Advisory C ouncil

The CVSD School Counseling Advisory Council aims to address the social/emotional needs of students through an array of programs and interventions. This year's focus is on meeting these needs through a multi-tiered approach, including core instructional interventions, supplemental/strategic interventions, and intensive/individual interventions. The council will discuss organizational strategies, dangers of vaping, technology updates, mindfulness, self-management/goal setting, developmental stages, and resiliency. Examples of programming include school-wide positive behavior support programs, classroom lessons, behavior intervention plans, mentoring, tutoring, and more.
