  9. Examples of functioning of the National Security Threat Map - photos Use of intoxicants in an abandoned house Result: A Police intervention against a group of youth was taken. Intoxicants were found on a 23 year old man. Also two underage persons, under the influence of alcohol were found. The man was charged of the possesion of intoxicants. The Juvenile and Familly Affairs Court was informed about the possibility of demoralisation of two minors who were drinking alcohol there.

Draft Evaluation report on the eighth round of mutual evaluations "The practical implementation and operation of European policies on preventing and combating environmental crime” - Report on Poland Description of the NTSM: „The establishment of the 'National Security Threat Map' as a prevention/detection tool is innovative, and an effective method of reaching the public through a technology platform. It has enabled citizens to report on a variety of crime types (including environmental and waste crime) which assist the police in identifying issues that might not otherwise be reported. The guaranteed response is an assurance to the public that theirconcerns will beaddressed”. One of the proposed recomentations for EU Countries: „Member States are encouraged to develop a prevention/detection tool with a view to enabling citizens to report on a variety of matters that could assist the police in identifying environmental and waste crime, e.g. the National Security Threat Map in Poland”. -40
