  7. About Mrs. Suter • Has been teaching for 10 years • Special education teacher in B-5 • Has two children, Kelsey & Christian • Moved into a new home in Warrington last spring • Spent the summer at the shore!

About Miss Bock • Has been teaching for 2 years • Taught 3rd grade with Mrs. Janet Swangler in school year 2001-2002 • Taught 2nd grade in school year 2002-2003 • Graduated from La Salle University in 2001 with a dual degree in elementary & special education • Currently enrolled in a Reading Specialist Masters Program at Holy Family University • Also lives in Warrington with her family

Parent signs to verify reading • Math-every Tuesday & Thursday night from a math practice packet • Spelling-every Monday & Wednesday night in spelling journal (list of activity choices will be provided)

  19. Parent Volunteers: Guest Readers • Time: Fridays, 1:40-2:15 pm • Read a book to the class • Follow-Up Activity connected to the book

  20. Parent Volunteers:Computer Assistants • Time: Wednesdays, 2:15-2:55 pm • Assist students in the computer lab 1. Word processing 2. Internet searching 3. Power Point presentations 4. Other children’s software (example: Kidspiration)

  21. Don’t forget to… • Finish letter to your child. • Sign up as a classroom volunteer if you choose. • Write name and address in classroom directory. • Sign up for a Fall conference. • Sign up for “Look Who’s Shining Now!” bulletin board. • Write any questions you may have on index cards and place in basket.
