  2. Sunflower Meal is the 4th largest source of protein supplement behind soybean, cottonseed, and canola meals (Hesley, 1994). Sunflower meal is generated when the black oil seeds gets crushed.

  3. Processing of Sunflower Meal The processing of high quality of oil type from sunflower seeds is carried out by three methods:  1. Direct Solvent Extraction.  2. Prepare Solvent Extraction.  3. Expeller or Screw Extraction. From these processing,  sunflower meal composition may vary greatly.
