The chain of command illustrates the flow of authority and responsibility within an organization, whether military or civilian. It emphasizes solving problems starting from the lowest level of authority. At Corsicana High School, this hierarchy includes Principal Mr. O’Neil and various aerospace science instructors, down to cadet ranks like Corps Commander C/Col. Kirgis and Flight Commanders within class periods, known as flights. Understanding where to start when addressing issues ensures effective communication and resolution within the school’s structured environment.

Within each class period, also known as flights, we have the following: • Flight Commanders • Flight Sergeants • Element Leaders
So, if you had a problem within your flight, who would you start with in the chain of command? Hopefully you said element leader.
Why not the flight commander or the corps commander – oh heck, why not the school principal?
