  1. Vocabulary9Honors Lit/ Comp Mrs. Koch Fall Semester 2011-2012

  2. Here’s how it works- • You will receive a set of SAT prep vocabulary words every other week. • You will create a set of vocabulary cards for the words on the list; you must use 3X5 index cards. • The set of cards will be due at the end of the week. • Test/Quiz dates will be announced in class.

  3. Test/Quiz Day Instructions- • You must have ALL of your cards in order with you on the day of the test/quiz; you can’t be assessed without them. • You will be asked to give the definition of 3 words chosen by me at random. As the semester continues, 2 words will always come from the current list, and 1 word will be pulled from any previous list. • If you need assistance from me during the test/quiz you will receive a 5 pt. deduction.

  4. Continued- • You must take the test/quiz during the allotted time given in class. I have to do this for 35 of you, so I will not give you an unlimited amount of time. You know the words when I call them or you don’t. • The cards you hand me on test/quiz days must be your own. Do not borrow them from another student.
