  1. Why Do We Have So Many Issues Transferring An Obese Patient It is a very difficult job to perform patient transfer service when the patient is either obese or incapable of movement or is attached to a lot of machines. There is no doubt that patient transfer technology is out there to assist and help doctors, physicians and surgeons and every other individual involved in the profession of health care provision. Needless to mention that a lot of patients are able to lead a better life and recover faster with the help of patient transfer services in Ontario. But A Very Big Hurdle That Many Of The Leading Patient Transport Services In Ontario Have To Face Is The Issue Of Obesity Among Patients We are in an era that is highly digitized and comfortable. We face a constant challenge of increasing number of overweight patients. And this is very much like an epidemic that has spread across North America. Everyone in the medical industry and in the field of healthcare provision knows and understands that being overweight can lead to a lot of debilitating injuries. The issue of obesity has been raised by a lot of healthcare organizations, nutritionists, doctors, surgeons and physicians across the country but we tend to turn a blind eye to this problem. Patient transport services providers in Ontario have found a way to overcome this ignorance and still be able to help overweight or obese people in the hour of need. Motor Driven Transfer Device Technology The biggest challenge in the medical industry is to care for and transfer overweight patients. The medical staff is unable to cater for obese for overweight patients without any external help or assistance. This has been one of the major contributors to them contracting musculoskeletal disorders including serious spine injuries and chronic back pain. With assisted motor driven technology this problem can be done away with. Why Has Motor Driven Automation Technology Become A Necessity?

  2. Motor driven automation or machine assisted patient transport / movement has become a necessity because it can enable our nursing staff and other members of the medical team to single handedly transfer a patient from one place to another without compromising on their safety, comfort, treatment or medications. The speed with which assisted patient transfer technology works is also able to reduce medical expenses of the patient and those of the hospital or medical care facility as well. The patient can reach specialized centers or clinics faster and this further reduces any chances of them contracting any injuries or worsening their condition. Today’s modern day patient transport services in Ontario are aimed at maximizing patient comfort and minimizing their pain.
