  2. House Clerk’s Desk From Senate To Senate Tabled To Governor To Conf. Comm. Failed Docket Pile Current Bill Debated Amendments

  3. Procedure • Take bill from top of docket pile • Debate it • Attach cover sheet • Move the physical piece of paper to the correct bin for transport

  4. Status Procedure • Fill out the form online • Data published on “Sessions” page We can use this to keep people updated on what has been happening in the chambers.

  5. Docket Procedure • Fill out the House/Senate dockets for the day • As bills are considered, put data into the branch “Docket” spreadsheet • Data published on “Sessions” page We can use this to keep authors updated as to when they are presenting as well as keep the whole branch on the same page.

  6. Location Procedure • Each clerk will fill out the next “Location” section in the “Docket Records” spreadsheet • The next clerk will see what has been sent to their branch, and add it to their docket • As bills are presented, they are brought up on the screen and amended on Google Docs • Data published on “Sessions” page We can use this when everything becomes digital, no paper at all.
