Enhancing Conservation Efforts: The Cache-Rich Local Work Group Overview
The Cache-Rich Local Work Group, chaired by S. Bruce Karren, aims to facilitate collaboration among local conservation entities in Cache and Rich counties. This group acts as a "Clearing House" for project ideas and meets biannually to assess conservation priorities. Key stakeholders include various conservation districts, state agencies, federal entities, and local governments. The group identifies top priorities through resource assessments and public input, while also addressing challenges in program changes and agency participation. Recommendations include better-defined roles and improved outreach through technology.
