History • “Turrones de Costa Rica” was founded in July of 1987. • Started with the founder and only two employees who wanted to specialize in nougats. • They grew fast in the first year to 5 employees and 5 different products. • Since then they have experienced steady growth. • In Sept. 2005 their new facility was completed. • They now have 19 employees and 6 different products.
Location They are now located in San Isidro de Heredia, Costa Rica They have built a new facility to increaseefficiency and production.
Capacity • With their new facility, they are now able to produce 20 batches a day. • Each batch produces • 60kgs of nougat • That would be about 800 of the 70g peanut bars per batch.
