The Rössing Foundation's Craft Programme aims to empower communities, groups, and individuals in Namibia by equipping them with entrepreneurial skills and expanding access to enterprise opportunities. Launched in 1992, the programme consists of three key components: Training and Development, Marketing through Mud Hut Trading and Fair Trade, and the establishment of the Namibia Craft Centre. By focusing on income generation and poverty alleviation, the initiative works with various stakeholders, including producer groups, artists, and partnerships with IRDNC and government ministries.
