  5. History of MySpace • in August 2003. Within 10 days, the first version of MySpace was ready to begin. A complete group of business, human resources and server capacity was available for the site, so the MySpace team was not distracted with usual start-up issues. • The very first MySpace users were eUniverse employees. The company held competitions to see who could sign up the most users. The company then used its resources to push MySpace to the crowds. • eUniverse used its 20 million users and e-mail subscribers to move the head of the pack of social networking websites.

Issues of MySpace • Blocking: In MySpace, you can block anyone you want if you feel very unsafe talking or letting them check your profile or stalk you by looking at your profile, status, pictures and videos. This could be one issue in MySpace. But this is the reason why MySpace made a rule by only people over 14 years are allowed to create a MySpace account.

  10. Facebook vs. MySpace • I think Facebook is better because Facebook is better access with any type of technology for example your iPod, iPhone or your Blackberry. Also Facebook is better because Facebook is better for communication with your friends and family but MySpace is more likely about uploading videos, music and pictures. Another reason why I think Facebook is better because it is more popular and all of my friends are in Facebook and also in Facebook there are more applications as in games and etc.
