Specification • What it says: • 150eV • expected to be 140eV by launch • 25mm2 active area • AutoID software • What it means • 150eV = can distinguish elements adjacent in the periodic table • 25mm2 active area = usable data in < 1 minute • AutoID software = user needs no training to identify elements present

  3. X-ray Acquisition • Uses INCA x-act ADD, specially designed for the TM-1000 • No LN2 (liquid nitrogen) required

  4. EDS Analysis for the TM-1000 • Uses components of OI’s INCA x-ray analysis system • Specially designed ADD detector to integrate with the TM-1000
