Agency Overview Tom Ettling, CEO Our WorkSt. Patrick Center is the largest provider of homeless services in Missouri, with 28 housing, employment and mental health programs assisting more than 9.000 persons annually who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We help individuals and families move from homelessness to independence in a measurable, cost-effective manner.

  13. SUSTAINABILITY PLANNING • Begin sustainability planning for the end of your grant the day you get your grant. • Reality sets in and wisdom dictates you start at least two years before the end of your grant • Desperation sets in and you must start the year before your grant ends.

Lessons Learned • You can’t be all things to all people • Political will is your friend • Incentives are critical to client engagement • Plan your housing dollars • Provide incentives for progress • Housing assistance s/b provided based on decreasing rent payment scale instead of agency paying 100%
