  2. Why the cultural system? Because an organization’s cultural system determines how it will perform in it’s daily activity, and is the cornerstone for evolution and success. How many organizations actively manage their cultural system? Less than 10% worldwide! Your organization most probably invests substantial time, effort, and resources in standardizing, managing, and improving its operational, administrative, and other systems, but hasn’t taken the same care for its cultural system. The result, as with any unmanaged system is… ¡Chaos! The Cultural Effectiveness Center provides proven tools and methodologies to leave behind the perception of the cultural system as “intangible” and “soft”, and incorporate it to your organization’s overall management processes and strategies. This will radically reduce crisis, communication problems, and the permanent reprocess that is a natural part of any unmanaged system.

  3. Which are the objectives of cultural-system management? Cultural System Management (CSM) has two main objectives: • Cultural clarity, which ensures that cultural standards are fully aligned with organizational strategies, and provides an environment of trust and certainty. • Cultural effectiveness, which standardizes day-to-day organizational interaction under parameters of world-class effectiveness.

  4. The Areas of CSM Implementation These are the four areas of organizational activity, that more directly shape the cultural system. The key is to ensure the effectiveness and congruency in each. The CEC has developed the only system for auditing each, based on clear, quantifiable indicators.   5. Cultural diversity… It’s an absolutely positive force for organizations, right? Not necessarily! The myth of cultural diversity Diversity brings vitality and positive conflict into the organization. The problem arises when diversity is taken to the extreme, and the organization tries to accommodate every cultural perception. When an organization doesn’t have a highly integrated culture, it ceases to be an organization, and disintegrates into a group, creating divisions, misunderstandings, and frictions. The only true solution to diversity, is to provide a solid, integrated cultural system, as a basis for effective interaction, true cultural fairness, and harmony. Don’t worry about eliminating the positive aspects of diversity, people will unavoidably provide those values, beliefs, perspectives, and behaviors that were programmed into their cultural system from birth.

Workshops Basics of cultural-system management This workshop separates myths from realities of organizational culture, and presents it for what it really is: Another system, but one which has a direct and powerful impact on all the other systems. Throughout the session, participants will understand the elements that make up the Cultural System, and will learn the fundamentals for standardizing, managing, and improving it. / Duration: 8 hrs. Cultural-System integration of multicultural teams This workshop facilitates the understanding, and integration of multicultural teams under a “cultural-third-way” designed to support organizational strategies, and ensure global-class effectiveness. / Duration: 2 days Introduction to the CETC The concept of “managing the cultural system” is new to most organizations, and so is the idea of actually certifying the key aspects of this system. This workshop provides the basis for understanding the Cultural Transparency and Effectiveness Certification, its value to organizational competitiveness, and its impact on the quality of everyday professional life. / Duration: 5 hrs.

  11. Services Initial Audit A traditional corporate climate study provides a vision of how employees percieve an organization, and how thy feel about different subjects. This is valuable information, but it is a subjective perspective of an organization’s cultural situation. Our proprietary Cultural-System Audit provides objective, concrete data on the status of effectiveness and clarity of the four key areas that shape a cultural system: HR management, Knowledge management for improvement and innovation, interaction, and cultural leadership. Certification Audit This audit evaluates the state of the cultural system, setting it against global benchmarks, to determine if they meet the criteria for granting the Cultural Effectiveness and Transparency Certification.

Services Program Certification and Registration The CEC certifies programs based on an in-depth analysis of their quality, focus and congruence with the fundamentals of Cultural-System management and Certification. The certification, ensures organizations that a program meets the highest standards of effectiveness and quality. The Registration of a program, such as a program to develop Culturally-Intelligent Trainer in an organization, requires that both the program, and the instructor are Certified, and provides a registration code that gives certificates full USMCEF accreditation. Consultant / Trainer Certification This Certification may be granted to consulting firms, or independent consultants in the field of Cultural-System Management and Certification, once they meet all CEC standards.
